H.E.P. Motorsports had a productive 2nd round at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch this past weekend. Max Anstie had a captivating performance in the 2nd moto of the 450cc premiere class with a 3rd place finish. Adam Enticknap continues to improve as he finished 29th overall.

Max Anstie had an outstanding performance Saturday with 3rd place in moto #2 after leading most of the way. After a great jump off the gate, Max was able to pull the hole-shot and take a commanding lead for a majority of the race. With a lead in excess of 7 seconds at points of the race, the only thing that stopped Max from a win was a downed lapped rider. Despite a rough moto #1 that saw Max crash and get trapped under his motorcycle, come in for a mid-race pit stop and losing his goggles, he still climbed the field from 35th place to 15th. Anstie finished 5th overall on the day.
“Really happy to get 3rd in moto #2 after leading most of the way” said Max Anstie. “5th place overall in our 2nd race of the series. My team has done a great job to deal with the tough conditions and with my bike set up. I’m looking forward to a new track next week and to keep building from here.”
Rough start to the day for Adam Enticknap who missed 8 minutes of the combined qualifying practice session. The fan favorite, “Seven-Deuce-Deuce”, finished 29th overall on the day, despite a rough second moto that saw him crash twice. Adam had his best result of the day come in the 1st moto with the track conditions at its worst finishing in 24th place.
“Everything improved this weekend,” said Adam Enticknap. “I had a tough time in qualifying missing 8 minutes of the only practice we had. The first moto was gruesome for me, I ended up getting 24th. In the 2nd moto I felt ready and eager. I got a good jump, but I fell twice during the moto. Overall the day was an improvement, but I want a lot more! Looking forward to the next round!”
“Great weekend for the team,” said Team Manager, Dustin Pipes. “Very proud of each of our crew members and the effort collectively put forward to get Max on the podium. The conditions were tough with the rain, but everyone kept their head down and kept working. This was a big step for the team. I am eager to share the feeling again with Clark, Aaron, Dave, Ryan, Chase, Todd, Lawson and Louis. For Max to get on the podium in only his second race back from a torn Achilles is a huge accomplishment and I look forward to seeing his continued progression.”
H.E.P. Motorsports heads to Indiana for the 3rd round of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series.
