Twisted Tea Suzuki’s Anstie has season best 5th place moto finish at Pala Raceway

Max Anstie (#34) shares excitement with best finish of the season.

Team Twisted Tea Suzuki is firing on all cylinders in the final stretch of the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series. Pala Raceway hosted the 11th round of the 12-round series. Max Anstie had a season best moto finish in 5th place and a season best overall result in 6th place. Brandon Hartranft continues to get better with another top ten performance.

Brandon Hartranft (#28) goes 10-8 for a career best 450 overall result in 8th place.

Brandon Hartranft (#28) – Very impressive day of riding from the 450-class rookie with another top ten performance. Overcoming the heat and track conditions, he pushed all day long with a pair of top ten moto results. His best race came in the final race, battling until the very last lap to finish in 8th place. Hartranft went 10-8 for 8th overall and another consecutive top ten overall finish in the 450cc premiere class.

“Pretty good round for me at Pala,” said Brandon Hartranft. “I ended up 8th overall on the day, my best result all year. I passed the heat test for sure; it was brutal.  I qualified 9th heading into the first moto and ended up 8th overall. I’m pumped with how I’ve been doing lately. I’m ready for more one round and to give it my all.”

Max Anstie (#34) has season best moto finish in 5th and overall finish in 6th.

Max Anstie (#34) – The seasoned veteran returned to the team having missed the previous round due to Covid-19 protocols. Max raced great all day with two solid races and a near holeshot the first moto.  Anstie had a season best finish in 5th place in the final race of the day for a season best 6th overall.

“Pala 2 was really good for me,” said Max Ansite, “I missed the last race due to Covid-19 protocols. I was happy to get over that. The team did a great job with the bike, and we put on two solid races together going 6-5 for 6th overall. I’m happy with the performance I’m going to regroup and head into Hangtown firing on all cylinders.”

“Solid day at Pala for the team,” said Team Manager Dustin Pipes. “Max rode great all day and ended with a 5th place moto result. He battled toward the front all day and that was great to see. Brandon took another step in the right direction with his 8th place finish. His suspension set up didn’t translate to this track, so he did well to adapt and put his best foot forward. We’ll come up with a new setting for the final round and come out swinging.”

Team Twisted Tea Suzuki heads to Sacramento, California for the return of the Hangtown National, the final round of the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series.
